The 2007 Dofasco Hamilton Music Awards will be hosted by Tom Wilson
and Cathy Jones of This Hour Has 22 Minutes. The Band will be
honoured with the Dofasco Lifetime Achievement Award while the
Dofasco Music Business Achievement Award will be presented to Alan
Cross, Program Director of 102.1 The Edge, in Toronto.
The 2007 Dofasco Hamilton Music Awards take place at Hamilton Place
on Sunday November 18th at 6PM. This years show includes 115
nominations in 29 categories. Multiple nominees include: Lori Yates,
Ruth Sutherland, Jeremy Fisher, Steve Strongman and Bob Doidge, Diana
Panton, Michelle Titian, Kim Koren, Bob Lanois, Blackie and the Rodeo
Kings, Wax Mannequin, Finger Eleven, Silverstein, Foreign Films, 40
Sons and Daughters, St. Alvia Cartel, High Voltage, David Braid and
Brubeck, Fred J Eaglesmith, Tim Gibbons, Alfie Smith, Sonny Del Rio,
Poor Angus, The Orphans and Drew Smith.
Performers at this years ceremony include: Simply Saucer, Bob
Lanois, Lori Yates, High Voltage and Teenage Head. The Band will be
recognized in a musical tribute performed by Garth Hudson and Blackie
and the Rodeo Kings.

which take place November 15th through 18th at Hamilton Place, The
