LeE HARVeY OsMOND’s “A Quiet Evil” has been nominated for a 2010 Polaris Music Prize, a music award annually given to the best full-length Canadian album based on artistic merit, regardless of genre, sales, or record label.
The shortlist will be announced on July 6, and the winner on September 20.
Blackie & the Rodeo Kings are preparing to release a spectacular album of duets, "Kings & Queens", featuring some of the band's favourite female singers and friends - and some of the biggest names in roots, blues and jazz - including Roseanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, Serena Ryder, Lucinda Williams and Cassandra Wilson.
